Payson, UT- Ryan Stream, a thirty-one year old motivational speaker; musician; and two-time war veteran, is entertaining groups of people one show at a time. He had a rough start in life as both of his birth parents made decisions that led to addiction, jail, and prison. These choices made by his parents led Ryan and his brothers to sleep in a homeless shelter and stay in different foster care homes. His mother eventually passed away from suicide. Ryan and his brothers were reunited and adopted by a police officer and teacher into a family of thirteen at the age of six. He began playing piano, dancing, and speaking at different functions. He wrote his first song on the piano at age twelve. He used music as his outlet to cope with his childhood. His adopted parents put him and his brothers into talent searches and other programs. He began winning these competitions at age twelve. His problems from childhood affected him his whole life. After high school, he got into drugs and alcohol which led to multiple arrests, court fines, and being sued equaling over twenty-five thousand dollars. He was fortunate enough to deploy with the army to Afghanistan. While being deployed he constantly wrote music and thus made the choice that he wanted to entertain and uplift others as his career. His mission in life is to “Change lives and prove to others that you are the Author of Your Story”. He travels the world performing to fulfill that mission.
